Contest Information

Every contestant would be required to write an original song.
- If the songwriter is not able to perform their song, that is fine. You will not be required to send in an audio recording. Feel free to send in audio recordings if you want, but they are not required.
- When sending in submissions, you will be required to send in a copy of the lyrics and make it known which category your song is being entered into.
Each submission should be around three (3) minutes long. No more than four (4) minutes and no less than thirty (30) seconds.
There will be three categories; ballads, urban, and contemporary.
Submissions will open on December 1, 2018 and close February 28, 2019.
Winners will be announced on March 22, 2019 5pm EST
- Cash prizes will be given to the 1st place winners of each category (three winners).
